BEFORE THE EVENT

HOW DO I CONFIRM THE ORDER?

You confirm the order by clicking on the link at the bottom of the first mail you received. You are then redirected to our order form, where you need to fill out all the relevant information. When you have filled out the order form and approved the deal, we will send you your final confirmation.

CAN I MAKE CHANGES TO THE BOOKING AFTER THE ORDER IS CONFIRMED?

Usually it is possible to change elements of the booking after the order has been placed and confirmed. However, we can’t guarantee to maintain the original price which you received at first. Be aware that every change has to be approved by Lej-en-DJ.dk no later than 14 days before the date of the event.

HOW DO I KNOW THE DJ IS SUITED FOR MY PARTY?

We always make sure to match the DJ who is best suited and qualified to your exact event. The selection is based on the preparatory dialogue about your music preferences and the expectations you hold to the DJ.

All our DJ’s are screened and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the industry. We operate with an internally rating system (based on feedback from previous customers) that guarantees a seal of quality and an extra assurance to you as the customer. Your DJ is not picked coincidentally, but carefully chosen from the feedback we receive from the customers who have held the same type of event as you are planning (birthday, wedding, corporate party etc.).

Furthermore, the DJ will contact you in the week leading up to the party. You have the opportunity to talk through all the practical details regarding the party. In the conversation, we usually go through your musical preferences, setup and dismantling of equipment, and our placement at the venue.

WHEN DOES THE DJ CONTACT ME PRIOR TO THE EVENT?

Your DJ will be contacting you 3-5 days before the party to ensure that no details are forgotten and all information is fresh in the memory.

WHEN DO I KNOW WHO WILL BE PLAYING AT MY PARTY?

As soon as we have matched your event with one of our talented DJ’s, you will receive an email with the contact information to your DJ.

HOW DOES THE PAYMENT WORK?

If there is less than a month to the party, you will receive a invoice with the full amount, which is to be paid within 8 days from the receival date.

However, if there is more than 1 month to the event, we will divide the invoice into two. The first rate (half of the full amount) is to be paid within 8 days from the receival date. The second rate (the rest of the amount) has to paid closer to the date of the event.

HOW DO I KNOW YOU'VE RECEIVED MY PAYMENT?

If you don’t hear anything from us, it means that everything is as it should be – otherwise we will contact you by phone or mail.

AM I ABLE TO SEND MUSIC REQUESTS IN ADVANCE?

You have the option to send us your playlists or music requests in advance. If you choose to send us your requests before the event, your DJ will build up the composition based on your music preferences. We always recommend that music requests and other details are organised with the DJ over the phone in the week coming up to the party. By experience, it is best to share the important details as close to the event as possible.

BEFORE THE EVENT – ADD ONS

WHAT ADD ONS CAN I ORDER?

Bigger light setup (minimum 5 effects)
You have the opportunity to add on extra lights. We have a huge collection of different light-effects available. We bring a minimum of 5 colorful lighting effects, which wraps the room in colorful lighting and makes the dancefloor more festive.

Uplights (wall lighting)
Uplights frame the walls of the room in a specific light-color. The lighting greatly helps to create a stylish and festive atmosphere. Especially if you want to dim or turn off the light from the ceiling lights. We usually place the uplights up against walls or according to how the room is decorated.

Early set up of the equipment on the day
You have the option to purchase an earlier setup of the equipment on the day. This is a great add on if you don’t find it suiting that we arrive a short time before the music commences. You choose the setup time when filling out the order form. 

Smokemachine
You have the option to add on a smoke machine. The smoke machine amplifies the light-effects which makes the beams more prominent and flow longer.

Disco ball
It is always marvelous to add some extra spice to the dance floor when throwing a 70’s, 80’s or disco party. It is possible to add one (or more) disco balls to your order.

White cloths on stands
You have the option to select white cloths which covers up the legs on most of the stands as well as most of the equipment. This is especially fitting at a wedding party.

Microphone
You have the option to add a microphone to your order. You can utilize the microphone for any speeches or other festive features that may occur throughout the event.

Extra sound equipment when between 60 – 120 guests

Extra sound equipment when between 120 – 180 guests

Extra sound equipment when between 180 – 250 guests

Extra sound equipment when more than 250 guests.

WHAT DOES 'EXTRA SOUND EQUIPMENT (60-120 GUESTS)' MEAN?

Our basic equipment generally covers all events with up to 60 participants. Hence, we recommend you always add on ‘extra sound equipment to 60 – 120 guests’ if that is the participant span of the event. It means we match the equipment with the size of the event. It is important we arrive with the ideal sound equipment to ensure a high level of sound quality across the entire location.

WHAT DOES 'EXTRA SOUND EQUIPMENT (120-180 GUESTS)' MEAN?

Our basic equipment generally covers all events with up to 60 participants. Hence, we recommend you always add on ‘extra sound equipment to 120 – 180 guests’ if that is the participant span of the event. It means we match the equipment with the size of the event. It is important we arrive with the ideal sound equipment to ensure a high level of sound quality across the entire location.

WHAT DOES 'EXTRA SOUND EQUIPMENT (180-250 GUESTS)' MEAN?

Our basic equipment generally covers all events with up to 60 participants. Hence, we recommend you always add on ‘extra sound equipment to 180 – 250 guests’ if that is the participant span of the event. It means we match the equipment with the size of the event. It is important we arrive with the ideal sound equipment to ensure a high level of sound quality across the entire location.

WHAT IF WE HAVE MORE THAN 250 GUESTS?

In cases where the number of participants exceed 250 people we customize a solution. Gained experience has taught us that the best way forward is to have a thorough dialogue, in order to ensure that the offer matches your specific needs.

DURING THE EVENT

WHAT IF I WISH TO PROLONG THE PLAYING TIME ON THE DAY?

It is always possible to prolong the playing time on the day or night of the event. The price is 400 kr. pr. half an hour. You will receive an additional invoice after the event.

WHEN DO YOU SET UP THE EQUIPMENT?

Your DJ arrives approximately 30 minutes before the scheduled time to set up the equipment to ensure that we are completely ready when the music has to commence. If you have purchased ‘early set up of the equipment on the day’ the DJ will arrive on the scheduled time which you picked when filling out the order form.

DO I HAVE TO CATER FOR MY DJ?

It is not a requirement to cater for your DJ, but it is greatly appreciated if you have anything to spare. Some water or soda during the night is also highly appreciated.

CAN I REQUEST SONGS THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT?

It is your and your guests’ party and you are always more than welcome to approach your DJ and request songs throughout the night. Be aware that the DJ is typically in the middle of a ‘set’ which is build around previous songs and possible other requests. Therefore we are not able to guarantee that the newly requested song is played straight away or appear right after the upcoming number.

AFTER THE EVENT

HOW DO I PROVIDE FEEDBACK OF MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE DJ?

We always send a follow up mail after the event to gather information about how your overall experience with us have been. To be more precise, you have the possibility to evaluate your DJ, the equipment and your service experience as a whole. In 2019 around 90 % of all our customers provided us with feedback. It is extremely important that we receive feedback as it helps us to constantly develop and improve our service, which enables us to continuously guarantee an amazing experience to our future customers. Therefore we hope, you also wish to leave an evaluation of your experience after the event.
